Could you be able to leave behind your talents and pursuits? Like superheroes coming from a digital dream space where black holes have captured the vibrant energies of youth. Kazuki Takamatsu presents new depictions of that youth growing at the rhythm of the early cyborg culture where gadgets are the pre-version of new electronic implants: always dependents of them, the social interactions become more and more intense in a fluid ether of bytes, at the same time that the awareness of one’s self is lost.

This way, with the dynamism of anime manga style of drawing playing along with and introspective imagery in canvas fighting for the liberation of the soul, the artist continues developing the particular technique that over the years has created the aesthetical sign of his artworks: a sort of marble textured paintings in black and white. Nevertheless, the release from the restraint is also a play of dolls in subtle red temperament that claims for the liberation and protection of the inner talents from public opinion and society judgements. A 24 hours job with samurai sables at hand to break the chains of the mind.
