White Cube Bermondsey art gallery London shows until this 20 January 2019, the new art creations of Indonesian female artist Christine Ay Tjoe.
With a new fixation: visual black morphological disruptions, Christine Ay Tjoe has filled her new body of abstract paintings with beautiful black textural movements. Moving away from her usual applied tones in this type of artworks, Ay Tjoe presents a short series that continue building her reputation. Talented avoiding color, this new imagery overcomes the 2016 abstract canvases, where red and green desertic tonalities were the basis. The black studies of movement permit a deeper enrichment of traces that flows in freedom to simply reflect the mood of a world sparkling black holes in the sky. A serious play of beautiful results.
