It has been the last weekend to see on exhibition the always in calm, but psychological disturbing pencil drawings of Stefan Zsaitsits. After a two months season at
Galerie Trapp in Salzburg, Austria. The fans of the artist could breathe of satisfaction.
Zsaitsits continues his imagery evolution, at the beginning his drawings pursue emotional breakdowns on his character in solitaire, but in the last years, he has transport this anguish into spaces where the characters confront this geometrical unbalanced houses. The throes living on solitude. Marvelous results on paper.
But there are new explorations of the artist, he’s trying a new kind of paper. Usually working on a white background the new material gives him the opportunity to incorporate light flashes into his drawings, in such a way he can build a new aesthetic for his traditional topics. Now the scenery subject is a confrontation to this new luminescence. His images are full of curiosity, singularities, and madness.
